Pink Floyd'ish - kewl tune - vocal pitch & diction ok. The gtr. lead needs reworking - sounds like the intonations out a little. I have found out the hard way - playing with digital sequencers -
the intonation must be perfect.
No drums for this is kewl - maybe add some percussion at a later date. Kewl little tune. Good job - LATER

Nice track! I agree it's Pink Floyd-ish ... but I hear drums, I like 'em, they could come up in the mix though. Some cool phased-out sounds in there

Sweet track :) (Smile) The vocal effect works very well over the rhythm track. Gotta say your vocal style is brilliant for the tone of the song.

Good work!! :D (Big Grin) i'm checkin out more as I speak.

i had a perfectly mastered copy of this song on a digital minidisc multitrack. and it malfuctioned and erased it along with a few songs that were almost perfect . i made one copy of this song with the bass turned up real loud for a freind of mine who was going to redo the bass part. that is this copy and theres no way to take that high bass out.it still depresses me.

dig those strings, definitely dig your voice on this one, should post your lyrics - what i caught sounded great. bass had a couple of iffy timing spots, guitar solo is excellent, nice warm rock tone.

It hot. The guitar in the beginning sounds a little off, what was that an ovation? It had a hollow kind of sound to it.

Great feel with some well put together lyrics. The mix between clean and dirty guitars adds a nice timber to the mix. I really like your voice and how you have fit into a very defining style that is uniquely—well you. ! The composition is melancholic and heavy like a thick fog over a swamp at dusk on a muggy southern evening. Anyone for a Lemonade? My only suggestion, being that I am a bass player, is to add a little compression (3:1 perhaps with a quick attack and release) to tame, tighten and control the dynamics of the instrument. That will give you a rounder and more controlled bottom end.

I didn't get a chance to hear the first mix.

Over all I love the tune and can’t wait to hear more of your work.

ok, so, i started this song playing and i walked to the other side of my room to get something. then i stopped as soon as the track started. i had to sit down. jesus christ... this is THE BEST SONG i have heard in a long long long time.

there is just so much emotion in this song... it actually made me cry. its that good. i don't even really know what to say. the vox is so good. perfectly on key singing with a heartfelt beautiful melody. the backing track is warm and rich and melodic. everything blends together perfectly...

as soon as it was over i put it back on again. then when it finished that time i put it on yet again. i don't do that. ever. this is absolutely beautiful. you are very tallented. don't EVER shortchange yourself. Happy Cry Hug

Pagan... this really is a good song man. I took Face's advice and listended to it, and I am impressed.

Don't be depressed about losing the better version of this, I have had the same thing happen to me with half of a FILM once. But we got our shit together and re-did it and it actually came out better!!

Why don't you give it another try? You may surprise yourself. Anyways go get a deal now. A record deal. :D (Big Grin)

Once again, all my favorites rolled up in one killer voice. And the rest of the song lives up to the voice too!
Someone once said that when you hear a song that reminds you of something else, but you can't place what it is, that sometimes what you're hearing is so right that your mind plays tricks on you and you just think you've heard it somewhere before.
That perfectly describes this song for me. Heartbeat

Wow! When a song has this many comments, I wonder what I can say that will express that however univeral this may be, it still reaches this one individual, and speaks to her life and to her feelings. It isn't just that I already want to sing with the wonderful melody... it's the emotions from you... to me... that transend any noteless language I might use to describe how it touched me. I'm grateful, that's all I can really say. Bowing Down

Awesome awesome tune, man. I really dig the cello..or anyway, what I assume is a cello. It helps round out the sound really nicely. The vocals are well done--in fact, everything is.

I liked hearding the "two, three four.." as hushed as it was. Even that seems to help round this tune out here. Excellent! Thumbs Up

This one reminds me a bit of why I liked Badfinger so much...
It's like, workingman's rock... something that speaks to, and for us (as Bogelyn mentioned)...
A strong, heartfelt track... thanks for this!

Ah, nice folksy country intro. Just want to sway in a hammock with my big greasy barbeque turkey leg and tall glass of fruit juice. Gah, other than rather low quality recording, this sounds so freakin' pro. How long have you guys been a band? You play well together, there's a feeling of nearly familial closeness between all parts involved, like you've all been through so much together. Just beautiful. Nice use of panning and other effects toward the conclusion. Oh yeah, once again, you're vocals fade way too much into the background. I have no idea what the song's about! Oh well.
